Posted on: Wednesday, 14 November 2018 10:21 am

EWIB has previously seen hundreds of Britain's best business women in attendance, providing advice and discussing experiences. It’s the perfect chance for women share to their journey, inspire and be inspired and connect with like-minded women. To provoke discussion and to open up these experiences, there will be panelist sessions, with thought-provoking topics such as overcoming-barriers and leadership, as well as presentations designed to educate and empower.

The three key themes this year revolve around the following areas:

- Leadership; rise to power, leadership style, mentors, award

- Culture; overcoming obstacles, breaking down  walls and rebuilding, women supporting wome

- Well-being; balancing responsibilities, struggles, needs, teamwork

Pip Wilkins, CEO of the British Franchise Association, highlights the importance of the event and why people should attend. “This is one of my favourite events on the bfa calendar. Created six years ago, it was a way of recognising the need to advocate the brilliant accomplishments of women in business and also franchising, and how far we have come as a society. The themes change every year to reflect the needs of today, create debate and provide a platform for women to share their own experiences on certain topics. I’m proud of how far this event has come, and I look forward to connecting with some fantastic women this November!”

Julie Waites from The Franchise Company will be attending, and will be more than happy to discuss franchising at the event.
