Franchising growth in the UK has continued for another year, according to the recent publication of the 2015 BFA/NatWest survey. Findings show that in the UK, franchising is still performing strongly, and that there has been significant growth within the franchising industry, here are some of the key findings from the report;
Franchising is worth over £15 billion to the UK economy
£Over 620,000 people employed by the franchise sector
£Over a 70% increase in the number of people employed over the last decade
Number of franchisee owned businesses has increased by 14% to over 44,000
One third of franchisees employ 10 or more people
In the UK, Franchising is ever growing and is providing businesses with a strong expansion strategy while retaining many of the features that strong growth delivers.
