The finalists for a new awards programme which celebrates the UK's best family-friendly franchisors and franchisees have been announced, with nominees including Startups Awards winner and Startups 100-listed franchise Turtle Tots - up for two awards.

Organised by Workingmums.co.uk and sponsored by Lawbite, the inaugural 2016 Top Franchise Awards intends to recognise franchises that empower women in business by providing successful flexible business models, and giving a high level of advice and support.

Shortlisted across six categories including'Supportive Franchisor','Best Newcomer', and'Family Friendly Franchise', other nominees for the awards include Bright & Beautiful, Creation Station, YogaBellies, and Dragons' Den success story Razzamatazz.
