How we helped Punch Taverns

Established in 1997, Punch Taverns is a UK pub and bar operator, with around 4,000 leased or tenanted pubs. A multi-billion pound business, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, Punch Taverns wanted to look at revising the format of some of the businesses it ran. One of these options was the development of a franchise format for its pubs.

The Franchise Company have worked with Punch Taverns to develop a viable franchise format, which could be rolled out throughout its entire pub network. This included the conversion of some existing pubs from tenants/owners to franchisees.

We also developed a franchisee recruitment strategy to enable Punch Taverns to bring in external individuals into the franchise network.
